About Bay Area Resource
A Bay Area collaboration of experienced and educated real estate professionals and non nonprofit homeownership service providers, Bay Area Resource (BAR) serves as a resource to educate and inform distressed, underwater and economically challenged homeowners. BAR assists investors as well as buyers to navigate the complex and often frustrating process of real estate transactions in order to prevent foreclosure and offer alternatives, intervention and education/counseling in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Bay Area Resource, in partnership with various Bay Area professionals as well as with several non-profit community partners and HUD approved member agencies, coordinates and facilitates workshops for distressed homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area.These panel forums include experienced professionals who offer guidance and options to avoid foreclosure. Additionally, BAR provides access to free loan modification counseling services through various connections with local non-profit agencies as well as educational materials/links to local and national resources on the Bay Area Resource website. These services provide information to homeowners who can determine their options and take the best course of action.
Bay Area Resource also offers out of the box options for homeowners who wish to keep their home such as the “Kill Your 2nd program” or “Backflip”.
BAR makes the home buying process easier for first-time and seasoned homebuyers and Investors by providing information about distressed properties, special down payment assistance programs and other resources.
Mission
Bay Area Resource seeks to educate and assist distressed homeowners and real estate investors to find options and solutions in the complex and often frustrating distressed real estate world. BAR uses many relationships and out of the box solutions to help real estate owners suffering though current or potential hardships (economic or otherwise) take a pro-active approach to avoiding foreclosure.
Members
Spearheading the Bay Area Resource team, Dyniece Abril worked as loan officer for 10 years helping the police officers, firefighters and other homebuyers. She then transitioned into the real estate agent side where she quickly realized that many of her past loan clients needed help and updated resources for their home and investment properties. She formed Bay Area Resource three years ago bringing together professionals to assist and educate homeowners, buyers and investors in order to realize their various real estate goals.
Dyniece maintains long lasting relationships with her real estate clients as she views her interaction as continuing rather than as one shot transactions. She constantly works to educate even the savviest investor client with her consistent education and updated research.
Frans Ryssemus brings his International pharmaceutical marketing and data analysis background to Bay Area Resource. His ability to coordinate multiple projects and events in different languages and time zones and continents makes him the ideal candidate to create awareness of the Bay Area Resource events, information and education. Frans speaks Spanish and has lived and travel internationally including a recent stint in Mexico.
Keith Rockmael contributes his writing and media background to Bay Area Resource.Keith worked as a freelance and staff writer for various publications including Travel & Leisure.com, Islands, Los Angeles Times and many others. He maintains several blogs including ones for Bay Area Resource and Greenerati.com
Keith has lived in various countries, including Mexico, Guatemala, Taiwan and has visited over 50 countries. He recently served as the chapter president for Toastmasters International in San Francisco and sits on the Board for non-profit HomeownershipSF.
